United were already expecting to be without Alan Thompson and Radostin Kishishev, who are both suffering from minor muscle strains, but Andrew Hughes should be available at Carlisle United this weekend having recovered from the groin injury he sustained at Brighton a fortnight ago.
Shaun Derry and Leon Constantine have completed long spells of rehabilitation and returned to full training but neither player is likely to be considered for a place in Wise's squad tomorrow.
