Peter Reid has been forced to make a number of changes to the side tonight for the visit of Manchester United.
Dominic Matteo is definitely out with a thigh strain. Michael Bridges is expected to make his first start of the season with Mark Viduka being left out as a precaution after suffering a reaction after training this morning.
With Jody Morris also unavailable, Reid is set to field a new-look midfield. Jermaine Pennant cannot play under the terms of his loan agreement while United will also rest midfielder David Batty.
Ian Harte comes in at left-back, whilst Salomon Olembe moves into centre midfield. James Milner is likely to play on the right wing, with Lamine Sakho on the left.
Manchester United include youngsters Darren Fletcher and Kieran Richardson. Roy Carroll takes over from Tim Howard in goal, whilst Nicky Butt, David Bellion, Eric Djemba-Djemba and Diego Forlan get rare starts.
Phil Neville is also expected to line-up for the first time since scoring the winner against Rangers in the Champions League.
