Three Way Chase For Camara

The player's agent Willie McKay said, however, that the defender is keen to stay in England and that the French club were unable to afford the unsettled defender.

"It is true that there is interest from Bolton and Wolves in Camara," McKay told skysports.com.

"Bastia are also in the hunt for him, but I believe they are unable to bring him in.

"Camara is keen to stay in England as he has enjoyed his experience in the Premiership.

"I am hopeful of getting a deal agreed before the close of the transfer window."

Bastia have now appeared to have lost interest in Camara's fellow Leeds loanee Didier Domi, but are still hoping to conclude a deal for the Lens centre-half.

"We will take our time over Camara," said Bastia chairman Francois Nicolai. "It is not very easy but we are quite optimistic.

"If, on Thursday night though, it is not settled, we will probably choose another solution."
