Parker, who spent last season on loan at Bradford City, recently had his loan at Darlington lengthened until the end of the season, but Gary McAllister included a 24-hour emergency recall clause in the deal.
With current first-choice left back Alan Sheehan due to miss the games against Carlisle United and Huddersfield Town through suspension, McAllister said: "Darren Kenton can play at left back as well as right back and I have the option of recalling Ben Parker but I will look at a few things next week and weigh it all up before we lose Alan."
The absence of Sheehan, whose free-kick gave Leeds a 1-0 win at Doncaster on Tuesday night, will be a blow to McAllister who added: "Alan has certainly turned a corner. We are looking at a more confident and fitter Alan Sheehan than when he first arrived. He has a good left foot, which he showed with that free-kick at Doncaster, but we are looking to him for more consistency and to keep improving."
