Leeds United have signed Leif Davis from Morecambe.
Davis, 18, arrives from the League Two side for an undisclosed fee, and pens a three-year contract with United.
The full-back will link up with Leeds’ Under-23 side for the 2018/19 campaign, currently coached by Carlos Corberan.
Davis never made a first-team appearance for Morecambe during his time progressing through their academy, having spent two years as a scholar at the Globe Arena.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to sign,” Davis told Leeds’ official website upon his move to Elland Road. “It is a privilege to be here and I can’t wait to get started.
“It was a great experience to be at a professional club in Morecambe and it has been a stepping stone to get to where I am now, it shows if you put the hard work in, you can get the rewards.
