Venables departure confirmed

"Leeds United today announced that Terry Venables, manager of Leeds United Football Club, has left the company," the club said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange.

A news conference is expected later today where it is anticipated that Eddie Gray will be put in charge of team affairs until the end of the season.
