Australia coach Frank Farina named Leeds pair Mark Viduka and Paul Okon along with new Liverpool recruit Harry Kewell today in a 20-man squad for the international against Ireland in Dublin on August 19.
Farina has retained the majority of the squad which beat England 3-1 in London in February.
Midfielder Paul Okon has kept the captaincy of the Australian team for the friendly but with his opportunities for regular first team football at United limited, has been advised by national team coach Farina to move on.
"I've always maintained that I pick players who are playing," said Farina.
"Paul obviously wants to play, and if he is not going to be playing at Leeds United, he's got to look at moving. It's as simple as that."
