"I really want to win something and I'm very excited to be part of this," said Viduka. "I think Middlesbrough should be pushing for the Champions League.
"Hopefully I'll repay everybody with what I'm here for, which is goals," he added.
"The set-up here is second to none and the coaching staff really good. Going into the dressing room there are so many internationals.
"I would love for us to achieve something over the next three years and I think we're going to turn a few heads this year.
"With the players we have here we should be aiming for the top six at least. I think we should be planning for that."
