The 36-year-old former Doncaster Belles striker, who scored 40 goals in 83 international appearances, may retire at the end of the season and could step aside after a 12th FA Cup final appearance, in what would be a first for Leeds.
"I've had some great times in the FA Cup," she said, "and it would be a dream come true to finish what could be my last season by playing in the final. I'm 36 going on 37 and I'm seriously considering whether I can put my body through another season."
Leeds and Liverpool will try again this Sunday, after last week’s postponement, when Arsenal and Charlton are set for a re-run of last week's Premier League Cup final in the other FA Cup semi.
Charlton defeated the favourites to lift the League Cup and Walker is hoping the Addicks can repeat the performance giving her a chance of lining up against a former England colleague Pauline Cope, the 37-year-old goalkeeper who has already announced that she will retire this summer.
"We've been texting each other about playing in the final," Walker added. "It would be absolutely fantastic for us to be involved in such a massive occasion that was also the last game for us."
