The friendly will take place on Sunday July 24 in Glasgow and Kevin Blackwell told the Leeds website: "This is a great fixture for us and it shows that Leeds United are held in high esteem.
"I am sure we will be taking a massive following with us and they will go and enjoy what could be a fascinating game. We had a good win last pre-season against Hibernian and hopefully we can do the same at Celtic.
"It will be a good test for us and we will give Celtic a good game."
The game will be Strachan's first home fixture since taking over as Celtic manager from Martin O'Neill.
