Wiedwald Signs Three-Year Deal

He has signed a three-year deal at Elland Road.
Wiedwald said on the official Leeds United website: "I'm very happy to be here, this is a huge club with so much history and tradition, it is amazing to have signed.
"We have been in contact for a long time and now I am here, Leeds United is a sleeping giant, it is a club with great supporters and the stadium is nearly always full, it is great to finally be here.
"I think every player wants to come to England and achieve great things, I am looking forward to playing at Elland Road.
"I have come to play and give my best on the pitch, the target is to keep as many clean sheets as I can, I want to develop and I hope we can have a very good season.
"My strengths are doing well in one-on-one situations and I am good with my feet, I want to play football and I am a strong player."
