Youth Team Crash Out To Crewe

A Chris Rowntree goal on 14 minutes was enough to earn Crewe a 1-0 win at Elland Road and eliminate United from the competition.

Rowntree was on hand to convert the rebound after goalkeeper Ryan Jones parried an initial shot from Sean Cooke, and an avalanche of pressure from Leeds - twice winners of the FA Youth Cup - failed to force an equaliser.
